3. Edward C² Ackerman (William C¹)⁽¹²⁾ was born Easton, Northampton Co, PA 1836.

He married Maria Louisa Roseberry Easton, Northampton Co, PA, April 28, 1856. Maria was born in New Jersey 1837. Maria⁽¹³⁾ was the daughter of Michael M Rosebery and Elizabeth Runyan. In the 1870 census Easton, Northampton Co, page 69A, Edward (age 34) is living with his wife Louisa (age 32) and his two daughters. Edward has the occupation on RailRoad Conductor and has personal property valued at $700.

Edward C Ackerman and Maria Louisa Roseberry had the following children:

6 i. Hopewell Hepburn Able³ Ackerman⁽¹⁴⁾ was born Easton, Northampton Co, PA February 8, 1857. Hopewell died July 29, 1857 Easton, Northampton Co, PA, at less than one year of age.

7 ii. Valeria Isabella Ackerman⁽¹⁵⁾ was born Easton, Northampton Co, PA February 19, 1860.

8 iii. Sallie Barnett Ackerman⁽¹⁶⁾ was born Easton, Northampton Co, PA March 18, 1863.
