2. Herbert² Apgar (Johannes Peter¹)⁽⁷⁷⁾ was born in Germany 1736. Herbert died June 6, 1800 in Cokesbury, Hunterdon Co, NJ, at 63 years of age.

He married Annie Alpaugh in Germany, about 1755. Annie was born July 21, 1732. Annie died March 26, 1771 in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey, at 38 years of age. There is a Herbert Apgar on the June Tax list 1792, in the Township of Lebanon NJ.

Herbert Apgar and Annie Alpaugh had the following children:

13 i. Annie³ Apgar was born 1756.

14 ii. Peter A Apgar was born in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey May 1, 1758. He married Mary Ann Alpaugh. Mary was born 1759. Mary died 1820 at 61 years of age.
