5. Adner² Akers (Uriah¹) was born in West Amwell, Hunterdon Co, NJ 1836.

He married Mary unknown about 1865. Mary was born in Maryland 1847. In the 1860 census West Amwell Hunterdon Co NJ page 450, Lavina (age 17) is recorded with hte Alexander Holcombe family. Abner (age 24) is also recorded here.

In the 1870 census Fredrick, Fredrick Co Maryland page 182, Abner (age 34), is recorded with Mary (age 23) and Jeanette (age 3). Abner is a farm manager born in NJ.

Adner Akers and Mary unknown had the following child:

16 i. Jeanette³ Akers was born in Maryland 1867.
