2. Oscar2 Avery (Pelvin1) was born Franklin Co, Ohio July 8, 1880.

He married Susan B Young. Susan was born in Massachusetts 1880. In the 1920 census 1787 West 1st Ave, Franklin Twp, Franklin Co Ohio page 51, Oscar (age 40) is recorded with his wife Susie (age 39), son Robert (age 12), daughters Louise (age 11), and Elizabeth (age 3y1m). Also in the household is mother-in-law Ella Young (age 76). Born in Ireland and immigrated in 1862.

In the 1930 census 146 22nd Ave North, St Petersburg, Pinellas Co Florida page , Oscar (age 49) is recorded with Susan (age 49), Ellen (age 21), Martha (age 13), Janet (age 8), and mother-in-las Ellen Young (age 86). Oscar was first married at age 24. Oscar is a manager of a Bond & Mortgage Co.

Oscar Avery and Susan B Young had the following children:

child 4 ii. Ellen Louise Avery was born in Ohio 1908.

child 5 iii. Martha Elizabeth Avery(137) was born Franklin Co, Ohio November 8, 1916. Martha died August 18, 2006 in Saint Petersburg, Pinellas Co, Florida, at 89 years of age. She married Stanley Robert Godown Franklin Co, Ohio, October 22, 1941. Stanley was born Franklin Co, Ohio August 25, 1913. Stanley(138) was the son of Joseph Andrus Godown and Rachel Linton. Stanley died August 23, 2001 in Saint Petersburg, Pinellas Co, Florida, at 87 years of age. GODOWN, STANLEY ROBERT, 87, of St. Petersburg, died Thursday (Aug. 23, 2001) at St. Petersburg General Hospital. He came here in 1952 from his native Columbus, Ohio. He was a member of Pilgrim Congregational Church in St. Petersburg and was a major in the Army Air Forces during World War II. He was a graduate of Ohio State University and was a member of Sigma Nu fraternity. He also attended the University of Florida. He was a building inspector for the city of St. Petersburg's minimum housing division from 1969 to 1977. He was the former owner of Peninsula Vending Service in St. Petersburg and also owned a construction company. Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth; three sons, Joseph, Atlanta, Robert, Sarasota, and S. Barrie, Jupiter; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. E.
