13. Jacob² Bloom (John¹) was born Alexandria Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ August 8, 1774. Jacob died May 21, 1841 in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey, at 66 years of age. Buried at Mt Pleasant Hunterdon Co NJ.

He married twice. He married Catherine Apgar. He married Catherine Apgar Alexandria Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ, 1794. Catherine was born Alexandria Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ July 23, 1775. Catherine was the daughter of Frederick Apgar and Elizabeth Philhower. Catherine died February 25, 1871 in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey, at 95 years of age. Buried at Mt Pleasant Hunterdon Co NJ.

Jacob Bloom and Catherine Apgar had the following children:

+ 17 i. Frederick³ Bloom was born March 11, 1795.

+ 18 ii. Isaac Bloom was born September 3, 1796.
