1. Elijah Thomas¹ Carter was born in Gentry Co, MO October 17, 1849. Elijah died November 6, 1932 in Perry, Noble Co, OK, at 83 years of age.

He married Dixie Anna Fees February 13, 1878. Dixie was born in Keokuk, Lee Co, Iowa April 2, 1853. Dixie died August 12, 1895 in McCook, Read Willow Co, NE, at 42 years of age.

Elijah Thomas Carter and Dixie Anna Fees had the following child:

2 i. Carria Ollie² Carter was born in Campbell, Dallas Co, IA January 21, 1883. Carria died August 1, 1972 in Perry, Noble Co, OK, at 89 years of age. She married Cleveland Humphrey in Perry, Noble Co, OK, July 4, 1903. Cleveland was born in VanBuren Co, Iowa May 9, 1884. Cleveland was the son of Christopher Columbus Humphrey Col and Lucinda Melissa Godown. Cleveland died September 1, 1945 in Perry, Noble Co, OK, at 61 years of age.
