supposed to have been drowned in the Delaware River
1. Andrew1 Butterfoss was born about 1720. Andrew died 1759 in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey, at 39 years of age.
He married Anna Moore in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey, 1739. Anna was born about 1726.
Andrew Butterfoss and Anna Moore had the following children:

Elizabeth Butterfoss was born in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey 1746. She married twice. She married Garret Lare. (See Garret Lare for the continuation of this
line.) She married Philip Dilts.

Ann Butterfoss was born in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey 1748. Ann died January 10, 1792 in Hunterdon Co, New
Jersey, at 43 years of age. She married Nathaniel McPherson Kingwood Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ,
about 1775. Nathaniel was born Piscataway, Middlesex Co, NJ May 12, 1748. Nathaniel died January 1789 at 40 years of
