4. George H2 Bird (William1)(370) was born in New Jersey 1821. George died in Groveland, Michigan.

He married Lucy Anne Transue 1843. Lucy was born in Pennsylvania June 1825. (Additional notes for Lucy Anne Transue(371)) In the 1850 census Paradise, Monroe Co, Pa, George (age 29) is recorded with Lucian (age 25), Sophia (age 5), Manda (age 3) and Ester (age 1).

In the 1860 census Barrett, Monroe Co, PA with the PO of Whites, George (age 39) is recorded with Lusanna (age 35), Sophia (age 15), Amanda (age 13), Ester (age 11), Isaac (age 7) and James Woobaugh (age 3).

In the 1870 census Holly, Oakland Co Michigan, George (age 49) is recorded with Lizzie (age 45), Sophia (age 24), Isaac (age 17), Ida (age 4) and James (age 12).

In the 1880 census Holly, Oakland Co Michigan, George (age 59) is recorded with Lucy (age 55), son Wesley (age 26) and son James (age 21).

In the 1900 census Holly, Oakland Co Michigan, George (age 77) is recorded with Lucy (age 74), son Isaac (age 47) and adopted son James (age 43). They have been married for 56 years and Lucy has had 6 children with 3 living at the time of the census. George and his parents were born in NJ and Lucy was born in Pennsylvania. They own their home with no mortgage.

George H Bird and Lucy Anne Transue had the following children:

child 15 vi. Ida W Bird was born in Pennsylvania 1865.
