21. Sylvester⁴ Bloom (Frederick³, Jacob², John¹)⁽⁴⁰¹⁾ was born in New Jersey 1822.

He married Permelia Seabold in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey, January 13, 1844. Permelia was born Kingwood Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ January 15, 1816. Permelia⁽⁴⁰²⁾ was the daughter of Jacob Sebold and Hannah Drake. Permelia died April 9, 1882 at 66 years of age. In the 1850 census Kingwood Hunterdon NJ page 142, Sylvester (age 27) is recorded with Permeia (age 33), Mary (age 6), Elizabeth (age 4), George (age 3), William (age 1) Jacob Dalrymple (age 23) Elizabeth Pittenger (age 23), and Jacob Seabold (age 89). Sylvester is a farmer and all births are NJ. Jacob Seabold is listed as head of household.

In the 1860 census Kingwood Hunterdon NJ page 719, Sylvester (age 37) is recorded with Permela (age 42), Mary (age 16), Elizabeth (age 15), George (age 13), William (age 11) , and Lewis (age 8). Sylvester is a farmer and all births are NJ.

In the 1870 census Kingwood Hunterdon NJ page 222, Sylvester (age 47) is recorded with Permela (age 52), Mary (age 26), Elizabeth (age 24), George (age 22), William (age 11) , and Lewis (age 17). Sylvester is a farmer and all births are NJ.

Sylvester Bloom and Permelia Seabold had the following children:

29 i. Mary F⁵ Bloom was born Kingwood Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ 1844.

30 ii. Elizabeth Bloom was born Kingwood Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ 1845.

31 iii. George W Bloom was born Kingwood Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ 1846.

32 iv. William Bloom was born Kingwood Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ 1849.

33 v. Lewis S Bloom was born in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey February 26, 1853. He married Laura Adelaide Bidewell in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey, February 12, 1880. Laura was born in Union Co, New Jersey February 12, 1861.
