1. John¹ Bloom⁽³⁷⁴⁾ was born in Germany January 31, 1731. John died May 1, 1814 Alexandria Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ, at 83 years of age. Buried at Mt Pleasant, Hunterdon Co NJ.

He married twice. He married Eve Ann Wagner in Germany, 1751. Eve was born in Germany 1734. (Additional notes for Eve Ann Wagner⁽³⁷⁵⁾) Eve died 1796 Alexandria Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ, at 62 years of age. Buried at Mt Pleasant Hunterdon Co NJ.

He married Sarah Young in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey, about 1798. Sarah was born in New Jersey July 24, 1771. (Additional notes for Sarah Young⁽³⁷⁶⁾) Sarah died June 29, 1853 Alexandria Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ, at 81 years of age.

John Bloom and Eve Ann Wagner had the following children:

2 i. William² Bloom⁽³⁷⁷⁾ was born in Germany February 26, 1752. William died May 4, 1828 in Clearfield Co, PA, at 76 years of age. He married Mary Mettler in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey, February 2, 1778. Mary was born Alexandria Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ February 6, 1764. (Additional notes for Mary Mettler⁽³⁷⁸⁾) Mary died August 1, 1825 in Clearfield Co, PA, at 61 years of age. Served in the Revolutionary War

3 ii. Isaac Bloom⁽³⁷⁹⁾ was born in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey 1754. Isaac was killed in the Revolutionary War.

4 iii. Adam Bloom⁽³⁸⁰⁾ was born Alexandria Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ 1756. He married Maria Roades. Maria was born about 1756. Served in the Revolutionary War

5 iv. Peter Bloom⁽³⁸¹⁾ was born Alexandria Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ October 1758. Peter died March 9, 1848 at 89 years of age. He married Mary Magdalena Case. Mary was born April 28, 1756. (Additional notes for Mary Magdalena Case⁽³⁸²⁾) Mary died December 22, 1828 at 72 years of age. Served in the Revolutionary War

6 v. Abraham Bloom⁽³⁸³⁾ was born Alexandria Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ February 24, 1761. Abraham died May 24, 1832 at 71 years of age. He married Mary Sophia Pickle September 20, 1780. Mary was born about 1761. (Additional notes for Mary Sophia Pickle⁽³⁸⁴⁾) Served in the Revolutionary War

7 vi. Eve Ann Bloom⁽³⁸⁵⁾ was born Alexandria Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ August 19, 1764. Eve died September 7, 1845 in Pennsylvania, at 81 years of age. She married Mark Jordan 1782. Mark was born May 1761. (Additional notes for Mark Jordan⁽³⁸⁶⁾) Mark died May 2, 1833 at 71 years of age.

8 vii. Margaret Bloom⁽³⁸⁷⁾ was born Alexandria Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ June 13, 1765. She married John Dels Slayter. John was born about 1765.

9 viii. Hubert Bloom⁽³⁸⁸⁾ was born Alexandria Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ July 13, 1767.

10 ix. Anna Madlena Bloom⁽³⁸⁹⁾ was born Alexandria Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ January 26, 1771.

11 x. Anna Maria Bloom⁽³⁹⁰⁾ was born Alexandria Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ January 26, 1771. She married John Case. John was born about 1771.

12 xi. Johannes Bloom⁽³⁹¹⁾ was born Alexandria Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ October 23, 1772. John died September 30, 1885 at 112 years of age. He married Maria Barbara Apgar Alexandria Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ, about 1793. Maria was born Alexandria Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ July 8, 1773. Maria was the daughter of Frederick Apgar and Elizabeth Philhower. Maria died July 1, 1852 Alexandria Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ, at 78 years of age. In the 1850 census Alexandria Hunterdon NJ page 199, John (age 77) is recorded with Mary (age 77) and Mary Ann? (age 20).

14 xiii. Christian Bloom⁽³⁹²⁾ was born Alexandria Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ September 10, 1779.

John Bloom and Sarah Young had the following children:

15 xiv. Mary Bloom⁽³⁹³⁾ was born Alexandria Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ about 1802.

16 xv. Samuel Bloom⁽³⁹⁴⁾ was born Alexandria Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ June 12, 1806. Samuel died July 2, 1883 in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey, at 77 years of age. In the 1850 census Alexandria Hunterdon NJ page 199, Samuel (age 44) is recorded with Sarah (age 80), Rebecca Slutt (age 21), and Peter G Bloom (age 15).
