2. John² Linton (Roger¹)⁽³⁴²²⁾ was born in Cumberland, England October 21, 1662. John died January 7, 1708 Bucks Co, Pennsylvania, at 45 years of age.

He married Rebecca Relph in Wigton, England, March 11, 1691. Rebecca was born London, England March 31, 1672. Rebecca⁽³⁴²³⁾ was the daughter of William Relph. Rebecca died 1714 Bucks Co, Pennsylvania, at 42 years of age. Said to be a friend of William Penn

John Linton and Rebecca Relph had the following child:
