3. Jacob3 Kresge (Jacob2, Conrad1)(3045) was born in Chestnuthill, Northampton Co, PA about 1804.

He married twice. He married Hannah Rinker in Chestnuthill, Northampton Co, PA, 1827. Hannah was born in Chestnuthill, Northampton Co, PA May 21, 1809. Hannah died February 24, 1838 at 28 years of age. He married Barbara Brong in Monroe Co, PA, 1841. Barbara was born in Monroe Co, PA 1810. In the 1850 census Hamilton Twp, Monroe Co, PA page 29B, Jacob (age 48) is living with Barbara (age 36), Joseph (age 22), Israel (age 20), Maria (age 15), Levi (age 14), Jacob (age 9) and Polly (age 2). Jacob has the occupation of Farmer.

In the 1880 census Jackson, Monroe, Pennsylvania page 293, Jacob (age 78) is living with his daughter Emaline.

Jacob Kresge and Hannah Rinker had the following children:

child + 4 i. Joseph4 Kresge was born February 20, 1828.

child 5 ii. Israel Kresge(3046) was born in Chestnuthill, Northampton Co, PA March 1829. In the 1880 census Pocono Twp, Monroe Co, Pa, page 328 Israel (age 51) is living with his wife Mary (age 42) and 7 children.

In the 1900 census Hamilton Township, Monroe Co, PA page 110, Israel (very hard to read)

child 6 iii. Maria Kresge was born in Monroe Co, PA 1835.

child 7 iv. Levi Kresge was born in Chestnuthill, Northampton Co, PA 1836.

Jacob Kresge and Barbara Brong had the following children:

child 8 v. Jacob B Kresge(3047) was born in Jackson Twp, Monroe Co PA January 3, 1843. Found in the 1880 census Tobyhanna, Monroe, Pennsylvania page 415.

child 9 vi. Polly Kresge was born in Monroe Co, PA 1847.

child 10 vii. Emaline Kresge was born in Monroe Co, PA December 11, 1852. She married Michael Woodling. Michael was born in Pennsylvania 1879. (Additional notes for Michael Woodling(3048)) i0 Found in the 1880 census Jackson, Monroe, Pennsylvania page 293.
