4. Rowland² Powell (Calvin¹) was born in Strafford, Orange Co, VT October 10, 1789. Rowland died December 27, 1865 in Livonia, Livingston Co, NY, at 76 years of age.

He married Rhoda Richardson in Livonia, Livingston Co, NY, about 1812. Rhoda was born in Livonia, Livingston Co, NY January 25, 1793. (Additional notes for Rhoda Richardson⁽⁴¹⁹³⁾) Rhoda died December 10, 1869 in Livonia, Livingston Co, NY, at 76 years of age. In the 1850 census Livonia, Livingston Co, NY page 166, Rowland Powell (age 60), is living with Rhoda (age 56) and Ester? (age 18). He is noted as a farmer with a property value of $11,400.

Rowland Powell and Rhoda Richardson had the following children:

15 i. Rhoda Ann³ Powell was born in Livonia, Livingston Co, NY December 11, 1813. Rhoda died June 25, 1849 in Livonia, Livingston Co, NY, at 35 years of age.

+ 16 ii. Tyler G Powell was born October 13, 1815.

17 iii. Lodsey Ester Powell was born in Livonia, Livingston Co, NY June 13, 1822. Lodsey died August 3, 1860 in Livonia, Livingston Co, NY, at 38 years of age.

+ 18 iv. William Ryder Powell was born 1829.

19 v. Ester A Powell was born in Livonia, Livingston Co, NY 1832.
