1. John¹ Pinkerton was born about 1826.

He married Mary Horner. Mary was born March 12, 1826. Mary⁽⁴¹⁴⁶⁾ was the daughter of William Horner and Mary Slater.

John Pinkerton and Mary Horner had the following child:

2 i. Alada² Pinkerton was born August 26, 1845. Alada died May 21, 1912 Frenchtown, Hunterdon Co, NJ, at 66 years of age. She married Josiah Butler March 1866. Josiah was born about 1845.
