21. William³ Roberson (Francis², Thomas¹) was born Kingwood Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ September 16, 1785. William died October 25, 1865 Kingwood Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ, at 80 years of age. Buried in Frenchtown Cemetery.

He married Sarah West in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey, December 27, 1808. Sarah was born in New Jersey May 1, 1790. Sarah was the daughter of Thomas West and Rachel Hoagland. Sarah died May 16, 1880 Kingwood Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ, at 90 years of age. William Roberson was appointed a Justice of Peace in 1838, for the term of 5 years, and reappointed in 1843

In the 1850 census Kingwood Twp, Hunterdon Co NJ page 135, William (age 64) is recorded with Sarah (age 60), Letitia (age 23), William (age 20), Francis (age 13), and Mary J (age 3). William is a farmer born in NJ.

In the 1860 census Baptisttown Kingwood Twp, Hunterdon Co NJ page 712, William (age 75) is recorded with Sarah (age 70), Letitia (age 27), Francis (age 24), Mary Jane (age 14) and Sophia Hope (age 51). William is a farmer born in NJ.

William Roberson and Sarah West had the following children:

81 i. Eveline⁴ Roberson was born Kingwood Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ March 14, 1810. Eveline died August 30, 1880 Frenchtown, Hunterdon Co, NJ, at 70 years of age. She married John Britton Opdyke in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey, September 30, 1826. John was born in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey 1804. John was the son of Joseph Opdyke and Fanny Britton. John died March 3, 1861 in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey, at 56 years of age. (See John Britton Opdyke for the continuation of this line.)

82 ii. Mary Roberson was born Kingwood Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ 1810. She married Miller Kline 1841. Miller was born in New Jersey 1809. Miller was the son of Henry N Kline. Miller died March 1, 1885 Flemington, Hunterdon Co, NJ, at 75 years of age. (See Miller Kline for the continuation of this line.)

+ 84 iv. John Nelson Roberson was born August 27, 1813.

85 v. Elizabeth Roberson was born Kingwood Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ December 18, 1816. Elizabeth died about 1890 in Camden, New Jersey. She married Abram Keyser Street Rev. Abram was born about 1816. Abram was the son of John Street. (See Abram Keyser Street Rev for the continuation of this line.)

87 vii. Rachel Roberson was born Kingwood Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ August 25, 1821. Rachel died May 21, 1825 Kingwood Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ, at 3 years of age. She died at a young age.

88 viii. Lydia H Roberson was born in Baptistown, Kingwood Twp, Hunterdon Co. NJ October 6, 1824. Lydia died November 4, 1910 in Mt. Pleasant, Henry Co, Iowa, at 86 years of age. She married David Miller Kline, Jr. December 1847. David was born in Lebanon, Hunterdon Co, NJ November 23, 1811. David⁽⁴⁵⁰¹⁾ was the son of David Miller Kline, Sr. and Elizabeth Hager. 89 ix. Letitia Roberson⁽⁴⁵⁰²⁾ was born Kingwood Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ January 23, 1826. Letitia died March 28, 1888 Flemington, Hunterdon Co, NJ, at 62 years of age. She married George Alexander Runk in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey, March 24, 1877. George was born in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey August 24, 1825. George was the son of John Runk and Emma Chamberlain Ten Broeck. George died July 25, 1887 at 61 years of age.

90 x. Jane Roberson was born Kingwood Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ January 20, 1828. Jane died February 6, 1832 Kingwood Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ, at 4 years of age. Jane died at a young age

91 xi. William W Roberson was born Kingwood Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ March 5, 1830. He married Sarah Gilmore January 10, 1851. Sarah was born about 1830. Moved west
