2. Charles W2 Rose (William1)(4623) was born in West Amwell, Hunterdon Co, NJ July 8, 1887. Charles died November 1974 Bucks Co, Pennsylvania, at 87 years of age.

He married Bertha Godown in New Jersey, 1909. Bertha was born Stockton, Hunterdon Co, NJ May 15, 1885. Bertha(4624) was the daughter of Oliver Godown and Mary Ann Winter. Bertha died November 11, 1969 Lambertville, Hunterdon Co, NJ, at 84 years of age. Died in St. Francis Hospital, Trenton. Buried at Riverview Cemetery, Lambertville, NJ.

child 3 i. Stacy O3 Rose(4625) was born in New Jersey September 17, 1910. Stacy died July 22, 2008 Raritan Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ, at 97 years of age. He married twice. He married Carmella M Welsh. Carmella was born March 12, 1915. Carmella died June 1969 in New Jersey, at 54 years of age. Stacey O. Rose Sr.

Stacey O. Rose Sr. LAMBERTVILLE - Stacey O. Rose Sr., 97, died Tuesday at the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township. A lifelong resident of Lambertville, Mr. Rose was a member of St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church and its Knights of Columbus. He was a charter member of the Lambertville New Hope Rescue Squad, a life member of the Lambertville Elks Lodge #1070, a Lambertville police officer for many years and he retired from the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission in 1975 as a bridge officer. Mr. Rose was a U.S. Navy veteran and served on the USS Oklahoma. Son of the late Charles W. and Bertha Godown Rose, and widower of Carmella Welsh Rose, he is survived by his wife Thelma Reed Rose; five sons, Fred Rose of Estherville, IA, Charles W. Rose and his wife Barbara of West Amwell Township, Stacey O. Rose Jr. and his wife Olga of Lambertville, Joseph Rose and his wife Donna, and John Rose all of Stockton; two daughters, Bertha Williamson and her husband Francis of Lambertville and Virginia McCaffrey and her husband Edward of Lewes, DE; one brother, Victor Rose of West Amwell Township; 29 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held noon Saturday at the Garefino Funeral Home, 12 N. Franklin St., Route 179, Lambertville. Burial will follow in St. John's Catholic Cemetery with U.S. Navy funeral honors. Calling hour will be Saturday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
