2. Jacob² Sebold (John¹)⁽⁴⁷⁰³⁾ was born in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey February 1, 1761. Jacob died February 1, 1853 Kingwood Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ, at 92 years of age.

He married Hannah Drake Kingwood Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ, May 8, 1792. Hannah was born in Hopewell, Hunterdon Co, NJ October 5, 1770. Hannah was the daughter of Daniel Drake and Hannah Anderson.

Jacob Sebold and Hannah Drake had the following children:

3 i. Fanny³ Sebold⁽⁴⁷⁰⁴⁾ was born Kingwood Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ June 26, 1793. She married Azariah Mathews January 11, 1812. (Additional notes for Azariah Mathews⁽⁴⁷⁰⁵⁾)

4 ii. John Sebold⁽⁴⁷⁰⁶⁾ was born Kingwood Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ February 9, 1795. He married Provy Howell in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey, September 11, 1819. Provy was born about 1795. (Additional notes for Provy Howell⁽⁴⁷⁰⁷⁾)

5 iii. Daniel Sebold⁽⁴⁷⁰⁸⁾ was born Kingwood Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ October 27, 1796. Daniel died December 26, 1879 at 83 years of age. He married Phebe Bateman in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey, January 24, 1829. Phebe was born about 1796. (Additional notes for Phebe Bateman⁽⁴⁷⁰⁹⁾)

6 iv. Mary Ellen Sebold⁽⁴⁷¹⁰⁾ was born Kingwood Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ January 4, 1799. Mary died September 18, 1844 at 45 years of age. She married Allison Rittenhouse in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey, February 6, 1819. Allison was born in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey May 1, 1793. Allison was the son of Elisha Rittenhouse and Mabel Isabel Miller. Allison died December 20, 1835 at 42 years of age. buried in the Baptistown Cemetery (See Allison Rittenhouse for the continuation of this line.)

7 v. Phebe Sebold⁽⁴⁷¹¹⁾ was born Kingwood Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ April 27, 1804. She married unknown Kitchen. Unknown was born about 1804.

8 vi. Jacob D Sebold⁽⁴⁷¹²⁾ was born Kingwood Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ February 6, 1806. Jacob died March 21, 1890 in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey, at 84 years of age. He married Mary Williamson in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey, February 6, 1830. Mary was born in New Jersey 1806. Mary died December 19, 1876 Kingwood Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ, at 70 years of age. In the 1850 census Kingwood Hunterdon NJ page 140, Jacob (age 44) is recorded with Mary (age 43), Emily (age 19), Lucy (age 9), and Gilbert (age 4).

In the 1870 census Kingwood Hunterdon NJ page 211, Jacob (age 54) is recorded with Mary (age 63), Mary Younts? (age 13), and Embly (age 12). Jacob is a farmer and all births are NJ.

9 vii. Charlotte Sebold⁽⁴⁷¹³⁾ was born Kingwood Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ July 17, 1808. She married Holloway H Race in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey, April 18, 1829. Holloway was born about 1808. (Additional notes for Holloway H Race⁽⁴⁷¹⁴⁾)

10 viii. Elizabeth Sebold⁽⁴⁷¹⁵⁾ was born Kingwood Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ June 30, 1810. Elizabeth died February 5, 1848 at 37 years of age. She married Mahlon Pegg Kingwood Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ, February 7, 1829. Married in Kingwood Baptist Church

Mahlon was born in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey August 8, 1805. Mahlon was the son of Daniel P Pegg and Margaret I Buckanan. Mahlon died October 4, 1876 in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey, at 71 years of age. (See Mahlon Pegg for the continuation of this line.)

+ 11 ix. Thomas Sebold was born December 3, 1812.

12 x. Permelia Seabold⁽⁴⁷¹⁶⁾ was born Kingwood Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ January 15, 1816. Permelia died April 9, 1882 at 66 years of age. She married Sylvester Bloom in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey, January 13, 1844. Sylvester was born in New Jersey 1822. Sylvester⁽⁴⁷¹⁷⁾ was the son of Frederick Bloom and Lucretia McCrea. (See Sylvester Bloom for the continuation of this line.) Her last name is noted in the Hunterdon Co Marriage records as Seabold.
