4 iii. Beatrice May Schenck(4700) was born October 16, 1915. Beatrice died April 18, 1944 in Whitehouse Station, Hunterdon Co, NJ, at 28 years of age. Buried in Readington Cemetery She married Albert W Godown about 1938.
Albert was born in New Jersey October 31, 1922. Albert was the son of Robert Hoffer Godown and Lillian Marie Frazier. Albert died December 10, 2006 Doylestown, Bucks Co, PA, at 84 years of age. The Intelligencer Albert W. Godown Albert W. "Bud" Godown, a longtime Doylestown area resident, died Sunday, Dec. 10, 2006, in Grundy Hall, Doylestown Township. He was 84. He was the husband of Mary Ann (Slabon) Godown. Born in Abington, he was a son of the late Robert and Lillian (Frazier) Godown. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during World War II. Mr. Godown had several careers, including building, business and farming. He built a number of homes in Bucks County and some in Chester County as part of Strouse & Godown Construction, later Godown Construction. He later became the owner of Warrington Greenhouse. He was a member of American Legion Post 210, Doylestown and a former member of the Doylestown Moose. In addition to his wife, Mary Ann, he is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Robin and Charlene Godown of Doylestown; five grandchildren, Zachary A. Godown and his wife, Jennifer, Corey-Brook and his wife, Miranda, and Aaron Matthew Godown, all of Doylestown, Benjamin Godown and his wife, Julie, of Upper Black Eddy and Dr. Jennifer Godown of New Jersey; four g-grandchildren, Zachary A. and Karisma Sky Godown, Nathan Eric Godown and Jasmine Lynn Godown; two sisters, Lena Godown Strouse and Ethel Godown Hager of Doylestown; and a daughter-in-law, Susan Ott Godown Schwenk of Goshon, Va. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Shirley Jean (Ott) Godown in 1981; a son, Dwane Eric Godown in 1993; a sister, Ann Godown Rutherford; and two brothers, Harry and Vernon Godown.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 14, in Whitemarsh Memorial Park, routes 463 and 152, Prospectville, where the group will gather at the bell tower.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to the Bucks County Veterans Office, 1282 Almshouse Road, Neshaminy Manor Center, Building K, Doylestown, PA 18901, or to Doylestown Hospital Visiting Nurse Association Home Care, 595 W. State St., Doylestown, PA 18901. Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home,
