In the 1880 census Delaware, Hunterdon, New Jersey page 2, Frank a widower (age 28) is recorded with daughter Catherine (age 7), son Albertus (age 4), daughter Rhoda (age 11m) mother Rhoda a widow (age 68), sister Emma (age 33), Theodore Pierson (age 41), Charles Treftz (age 14), and Ann Dalrymple (age 53). Frank is a farmer born in NJ.
