1. James¹ Dalrymple was born in Scottland about 1725. James died about 1783 in Amwell Twp, Hunterdon Co, New Jersey.

He married Ereminah Yeoman. Ereminah was born in Scottland about 1730.

James Dalrymple and Ereminah Yeoman had the following children:

+ 2 i. Edmond² Dalrymple was born March 22, 1752.

+ 3 ii. Jessie Dalrymple was born March 20, 1756.
