He married Elizabeth Welch in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey, June 18, 1814. Elizabeth was born June 13, 1788. Elizabeth died July 30, 1880 Alexandria Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ, at 92 years of age. Buried at Mount Pleasant,Alexandria Twp,Hunterdon Co,NJ

Godfrey Case and Elizabeth Welch had the following children:

2 i. Margaret Ann² Case⁽⁵⁵⁰⁾ was born in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey May 29, 1816. Margaret died before 1880 in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey. Buried at Mount Pleasant,Alexandria Twp,Hunterdon Co,NJ with no dates given She married William Besson in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey, February 5, 1835.

William was born in Amwell Twp, Hunterdon Co, New Jersey July 31, 1807. William⁽⁵⁵¹⁾ was the son of John Besson and Rachel Trout. William died January 6, 1894 Alexandria Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ, at 86 years of age. Buried at Mount Pleasant,Alexandria Twp,Hunterdon Co,NJ with no dates given (See William Besson for the continuation of this line.)

4 iii. Mary Case⁽⁵⁵²⁾ was born Alexandria Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ 1819.

5 iv. Levi Case⁽⁵⁵³⁾ was born about 1819. Levi died May 2, 1902 in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey, at 82 years of age.

6 v. Robert Case⁽⁵⁵⁴⁾ was born Alexandria Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ March 4, 1820. Robert died March 13, 1825 Alexandria Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ, at 5 years of age.

7 vi. William Case⁽⁵⁵⁵⁾ was born Alexandria Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ July 4, 1822. William died March 19, 1825 Alexandria Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ, at 2 years of age.

8 vii. Catherine Apgar Case⁽⁵⁵⁶⁾ was born Alexandria Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ June 16, 1828. Catherine died March 3, 1909 Alexandria Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ, at 80 years of age.

9 viii. Susan Elizabeth Case⁽⁵⁵⁷⁾ was born Alexandria Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ about 1829.
