1. De Witt1 Dover(938) was born in Indiana 1835.(939) De died April 24, 1865 in Mobile, Alabama, at 29 years of age. Dewitt enlisted in the 28th Illinois Infantry as a sergeant and died in action in Mobile, Alabama 24 April 1865. Mary Ann Dover applied for a Civil War Pension on 16 Jun 1865, application #98,157, certificate #79,983, and a minor Pension on 15 July 1869, application $149,950, certificate #99,050. He married Mary Ann Flexer in Adair Co, Missouri, April 25, 1859. Mary was born in Medina Co, Ohio August 5, 1841. (Additional notes for Mary Ann Flexer(940)) Mary died February 1, 1932 in Polk, Polk Co., NE, at 90 years of age.
