1. Clyde H1 Dixon was born before February 9, 1941, the first event for which there is a recorded date.

He married Mary M Hummel.

Clyde H Dixon and Mary M Hummel had the following child:

child 2 i. Ruth B2 Dixon was born Andover, Allegany Co, NY February 9, 1941. Ruth died September 3, 2014 Rochester, Monroe Co, NY, at 73 years of age. WELLSVILLE - Ruth B. Brownell, 73, of 3364 Hallsport Road, passed away on Wednesday (Sept. 3, 2014)?in Rochester at the General Hospital from complications of surgery.

She was born in Andover, N.Y., on Feb. 9, 1941, the daughter of Clyde H. and Mary M. Hummel Dixon.

On Nov. 12, 1960, in Wellsville, she was married to James Randall Brownell, who survives her.

She was a lifelong resident of the area and was a graduate of the Wellsville High School.

She attended the Hallsport United Methodist Church.

Surviving besides her husband, Jim, are a daughter, Janice (Victor) Black of Wellsville; son, James (Mary) Brownell of Geneseo, N.Y.; 3 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; sisters, Harriet (Wendell)?Foote of Wellsville, Cora Keyser of Buffalo, N.Y., and Jane Sadler of Alexandria, La.; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Mulholland-Crowell Funeral Home in Wellsville on Monday (Sept. 8, 2014) from 6 until 8 p.m. where funeral and committal services will be held on Tuesday (Sept. 9, 2014) at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Ralph Eastlack officiating. Burial will be in the Stannards Cemetery in the Town of Willing, N.Y.

James was born in Wellsville, Allegany Co, NY March 28, 1933. James was the son of James Henry Brownell and Florence C Schram. James died November 4, 2015 in Wellsville, Allegany Co, NY, at 82 years of age. STANNARDS - James R. Brownell, 82, of 3361 Hallsport Rd., passed away in the Jones Memorial Hospital in Wellsville on Wednesday (Nov. 4, 2015), following a long illness.

He was born March 28, 1933, in Wellsville, the son of James H. and Florence C. Schram Brownell.

On Nov. 12, 1960, in Wellsville, he married Ruth Dixon, who predeceased him. He was a lifelong resident of Wellsville and had attended the Stone District School.

He was a member of the Stannards United Methodist Church and had served with the U.S. Marines from 1953 to 1956.

He had retired in 2014 as Warehouse Supervisor for the Otis Eastern Co. of Wellsville.

He and his wife, Ruth, spent their summers at Conesus Lake. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, deer and turkey hunting.

He was also very fond of the time spent with his family and friends.

Surviving are a daughter, Janice (Victor) Black of Stannards; son, James (Mary)?Brownell of Genesee, N.Y.; grandchildren, Christopher and Patrick Black and Russell Brownell; great-grandson, Colin Black; sister, Phyllis Winborn of Houston, Texas; brother, John (Stella) Brownell of West Jordan, Utah; several nieces and nephews.

He was also predeceased by his parents, wife and several brothers and sisters.

Friends may call at the Mulholland-Crowell Funeral Home in Wellsville on Tuesday (Nov. 10, 2015) from 6 until 8 p.m., where services will be held on Wednesday (Nov. 11, 2015) at 11 a.m. with Rev. Ralph Eastlack officiating, followed by full military rites by the American Legion Post #702. Burial will be in the Stannards Cemetery in the Town of Willing, N.Y.
