He married Catherine Vanselous 1878. Catherine was born in Michigan October 03, 1858. Catherine⁽¹¹⁰²⁾ was the daughter of James Cherry Vanselous and Cornelia M Godown. Catherine died before 1942. In the 1880 census Bridgewater Twp, Rice Co Minnesota page , George (age 23) is recorded with his wife Catharine (age 22) and Thomas (age 10m). George is a farmer born in Ohio.

George R Fox and Catherine Vanselous had the following child:
