1. Lars¹ Hansen was born in Denmark November 10, 1837. Lars died August 2, 1898 in Lago, Bannock Co, Idaho, at 60 years of age.

He married Maria Larson in Denmark, May 28, 1863. Maria was born in Denmark April 23, 1831. Maria died August 2, 1918 in Lago, Bannock Co, Idaho, at 87 years of age. In the 1880 census Mantua, Box Elder, Utah page 80, Lars (age 42) is recorded with his wife Maris (age 29), Martha (age 15), Christian (age 15), Lars (age 12), and Julius (age 10). Lars is a taylor and all births are recorded as Denmark.

Lars Hansen and Maria Larson had the following children:

2 i. Martha² Hansen was born in Denmark 1865.

3 ii. Christian Hansen was born in Denmark 1865.

4 iii. Lars P Hansen was born in Denmark 1868.

+ 5 iv. Julius Hartvig Hansen was born April 1, 1869.
