He married Alma P unknown 1921. Alma was born Iowa June 29, 1895. (Additional notes for Alma P unknown⁽²⁰³²⁾) Alma died September 1988 in Anaheim, Orange Co, CA, at 93 years of age. In the 1930 census Anaheim, Orange Co CA page 143, Louis (age 35) is recorded with his wife Alma (age 35), Phylis (age 5) and Mahlon (age 2y11m). Louis was first married at age 26 and is a poultryman.

Louis W Hamann and Alma P unknown had the following children:
