Age at death was 65 buried at Easton Cemetery, Northampton Co, Pa

He married Elizabeth Kreider in Moore Twp., Northampton Co, Pa, 1779. Elizabeth was born 1763. Elizabeth was the daughter of Conrad Kreider and Regina Sebastian. Elizabeth died 1843 at 80 years of age. Kreidersville is in Allen Township, Northampton County, Pennsylvania, directly south of Petersville which is on State Route 248. The Heckmans lived in both towns and worshipped at two different churches. Conrad Kreider lived at Kreidersville; his daughter Elisabeth married Adam Heckman who served as a fifer in Capt. Nicholas Kern's company, 10th Pennsylvania regiment, Col Hart of Northampton Associators and in 1781 he served as private in the 2nd battalion, Northampton Co, Pennsylvania melitia in the American Revolutionary War along with his brother George and probably his other brother, Johannes. Adam was a tavern owner in Easton, Pennsylvania, at the time of his death. Easton is the county seat of Northampton County. Conrad Kreider's name appears on the dedication monument at the Church Cemetery, and his stone is there, still in good shape.

An Adam Heckman is listed in the 1780 taxables in Lehigh Township for the amount of 635 and occupation noted as a Taylor.

There is an Adam Heckman on the tax rolls in 1788 in the township of Allen, Northampton Co, PA

Adam Heckman and Elizabeth Kreider had the following children:

child 181 ii. Eva Regina Heckman(2359) was born in Allen Twp., Northampton Co., Pa May 1, 1783. Rachael died August 26, 1860 in Painted Post, Steuben Co, NY, at 77 years of age. buried at Jasper, Steuben County, New York.

She married Samuel F Erwin in Erwin, Steuben Co, NY, December 8, 1801.

Samuel was born Bucks Co, Pennsylvania May 4, 1770. Samuel was the son of Arthur Erwin and Mary Kennedy. Samuel died November 10, 1836 in Erwin, Steuben Co, NY, at 66 years of age. (See Samuel F Erwin for the continuation of this line.)
