In the 1880 census Letterkenny Franklin Co PA page 154, Adam (age 36), is recorded with his wife Amanda (age 34), David (age 12), William (age 10), John (age 7), Araminta (age 4), and James (age 1). All births are PA and Adam is a farm laborer.

Adam Heckman and Amanda J unknown had the following children:

35 ii. David F Heckman was born in Franklin County, Pa 1868.

36 iii. William P Heckman was born in Franklin County, Pa May 1870.

39 vi. James M Heckman was born in Franklin County, Pa 1879.
