1. William¹ Huffman⁽²⁷⁴⁶⁾ was born in Pennsylvania 1820.

He married Caroline Silverthorn in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey, November 9, 1844. Caroline was born in Tinicum Twp, Bucks Co, Pa 1822. Caroline⁽²⁷⁴⁷⁾ was the daughter of Thomas Silverthorn and Rachel unknown. In the 1850 census Kingwood Hunterdon Co NJ page 139, William (age 29,PA) is recorded with Caroline (age 27,PA) Augustis (age 1,NJ) and Mary (age 2m,NJ). William is a carpenter born in PA.

William Huffman and Caroline Silverthorn had the following children:

2 i. Augustus² Huffman was born Kingwood Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ 1848.

3 ii. Mary F Huffman was born Kingwood Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ 1850.
