21. Issachar⁵ Hoagland (Derrick⁴, Derrick³, John², Derrick¹) was born in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey July 5, 1803. Issachar died December 27, 1878 at 75 years of age.

He married Mary S Prall March 5, 1828. Mary was born in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey July 27, 1807. Mary was the daughter of Peter Prall and Lucretia Trout. Mary died September 30, 1847 Delaware Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ, at 40 years of age. In the 1850 census Delaware, Hunterdon, New Jersey page 106, Isachar (age 49) is recorded with Frances (age 20), Ellen (age 18), Asa (age 15), Howard (age 13), Asher (age 7), and George Bayer (age 21). Isachar is a farmer and all births are NJ.

Issachar Hoagland and Mary S Prall had the following children:

27 i. Frances E⁶ Hoagland was born in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey July 7, 1830.

28 ii. Ellen H Hoagland was born in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey February 24, 1832. She married John Hill in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey. John was born in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey about 1818.

29 iii. Asa Prall Hoagland was born in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey July 19, 1834.

30 iv. Howard Hoagland was born Delaware Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ June 9, 1837.

31 v. Asher H Hoagland was born in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey 1842.

32 vi. Elisha H Hoagland was born Delaware Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ August 27, 1842.
