32. John4 Joyner (Israel3, William2, Thomas1)(2875) was born in Beaufort Co. NC about 1730. John died 1782 in Pitt Co, North Carolina, at 52 years of age.

He married Annie Alberson about 1755. Annie was born about 1740. Notes by Leon Zeigler: John Joyner, Son of Israel Joyner, the one first known or in Pitt County, came from East Virginia on the Mehering River as near as I can ascertain about 1700 or 1740. Bought land and settled on Contentnee Creek one mile from the village of what is now Farmville. (It was founded in 1867) His wife's maden name was Annie Alberson.

John Joyner and Annie Alberson had the following children:

child 34 i. Jacob5 Joyner was born in Pitt Co, North Carolina about 1756.

child 35 ii. Sarah Joyner was born in Pitt Co, North Carolina about 1758.

child + 36 iii. Abraham Joyner was born March 16, 1761.

child 37 iv. Elizabeth Joyner was born in Pitt Co, North Carolina 1762. Elizabeth died September 15, 1820 in Pitt Co, North Carolina, at 58 years of age. She married Moses Tyson in Pitt Co, North Carolina, March 1, 1809. Moses was born in Beaufort Co. NC 1755. Moses died October 4, 1823 in Pitt Co, North Carolina, at 68 years of age.

child 38 v. Annie Joyner was born in Pitt Co, North Carolina about 1762. She married Joab Tyson in Pitt Co, North Carolina, 1790. Joab was born in Pitt Co, North Carolina about 1761. Joab was the son of Moses Tyson and unknown Mills. Joab died 1825 in Georgia, at 64 years of age. (See Joab Tyson for the continuation of this line.)

child 39 vi. John Joyner was born in Pitt Co, North Carolina October 7, 1779. John died March 20, 1853 at 73 years of age. He married Elizabeth Tyson. Elizabeth was born about 1779.

child 40 vii. Isaac Joyner was born in Pitt Co, North Carolina 1781.
